Who do you think is or should be responsible for the clean up of Meth Labs? (city, government, suspect or new homeowner)
Why?
Do you think that the person selling the home needs to tell the perspective buyer that the home was a meth lab?
If the new home owner or family member became sick who would be responsible for paying their medical costs?
What are the enviornmental impacts of meth labs and their clean up?

    2. I agree that the city and the original owner and the city should clean up the meth labs. But I do think the new owners should ask about the previous owners history with the house. Because it isn't a wise buying decision not to ask.

    1. I agree that the government should hold responsibility for telling the new house owners that it was a meth lab, because if they knew, they wouldn't have bought the house. Good job!!

    1. I agree with you Marina. But I think maybe instead of the realtor paying it, it should be the city. But the realtor should get some sort of punishment.

    2. I find it interesting how you think the person who conducted the meth lab should clean up the mess. Although they should be the ones cleaning it up, the city would do a better job at cleaning it up and possibly close down the house to make sure nobody gets harmed by the chemicals, in case some are not cleaned up.

    1. I agree with a lot of what you said. Although it would be nice for people to tell people they had a meth lab, that is not realistic, they would risk getting caught and being arrested. I think they are being selfish because the chemicals they use can kill animals.

    2. i do not agree that the government should pay pay money for something that doesnt even affecct them, as well as use the taxdollars of people who also have nothing to do with this problem. it is up to the new buyer to do all of the proper procedures before buying the home. the government has enough things to worry about, and must spend their money more wisely.

    1. I agree with the all the statements you said, but I don't think that the homeowner should be responsible for cleaning up the meth lab. if the real estate company is going to sell a home then they should clean it up before they sell the house and they should also tell the people looking or buying the house, that there was a meth lab in the house but they cleaned it all up.
